Most people who borrow money do so fully intending to repay the loan according to the agreed upon terms. Perhaps, at the time they borrowed the money, things in their lives were going well financially and having the resources to repay the debt was not a concern.
Unfortunately, things can happen in a person’s life that can severely change their ability to satisfy their debts, such as a death in the family or losing their job. For these people, not only do they have to deal with whatever tragedy has befallen them, they also have to deal with angry creditors who have no sympathy for their plight.

If you have ever had to declare bankruptcy, then you are also wondering if there ever will be a way to recover from having to undergo such a process. Quite possibly, it has already been a couple of years since the declaration, and you currently see no end in sight. Here are some things that you can do to help achieve, with some time, the financial freedom that you want - again.
One great thing that you have on your side to help you recover is the fact that there is a lot of competition out there to give loans. This means that a banker knows that if he does not give you a loan, then someone else will - and they get the profit, hopefully. So, the bottom line here is that just because you declared bankruptcy yesterday, it does not mean that you are not eligible for a loan today.

With rights come responsibilities. And this rule applies to college student credit cards as well. These small pieces of plastic look innocent enough but come with their share of pitfalls. College days are colored with long hours of studying and longer hours partying with friends and classmates. And, if you are not careful, college days will also be marred with credit card bills that carry the threat of thousands of dollars of debilitating debt that will stay with you for some time to come!
This bleak picture should by no means prevent college students from using credit cards; it should only help students to avoid misusing them. If you know how to keep the key rules in mind and keep them in control while planning your purchases, you can master the art of handling credit cards and be able to use them effectively and to your best possible advantage.

If you think that you are facing unfair or fraudulent charges on your credit card, the only thing that verifies your situation is your bill. Before making any payments to the credit card company, check your bill for each item that has been included.
When you find an item that you did not buy, report the inaccuracy to the credit card company according to their procedures. If you just sit back and don’t pay back the erroneous credits, there are chances that the card company reports your case to a credit reporting agency. This way you might mar your otherwise perfect credit history.

When you have a child, or even before you do, start collecting gold coins. When your child grows up, cash them in to send your high school graduate to the University of their choice. Your child can do the same for your grandchild. Collecting gold coins can make something special for your family. It can make your family special. Even rich and famous. Can it be done? Has it been done? Well, do you recognize any of these family names?
If you have heard of the Adams family, or the Brand family, or the Dupont family, or the Royal Farouk family, or the Garrett family, or the Green family, or the Hopkins family, or the Hunt family, or the JP Morgan family, or the Onassis family, or the Rothchild family then there is a good reason why. They built their fortunes from collecting gold coins.

If you have a regular job and you are not in the habit of religiously sticking to a monthly or a bi-weekly budget, it is normal for you to experience a shortage of cash in between paychecks.

The well know phrase, “nothing is certain except for death and taxes”, is often on the tongues of those Americans who are fed up with shelling out huge quantities of their hard earned cash to their homeland. In the great land of America taxes follow citizens around like a starving animal.
Unfortunately, there is no escape from this doom while living as a US citizen in America. In order to enjoy all of the perks of permanent residence and citizenship, one must reimburse the country. In other words, if you want to stay, you have to pay. But is there another option? Some say yes: expatriation.

It’s that time of the month again - and you hate it. You’re stressed, worried, grouchy - and all because of a pile of bills sitting on your desk. It’s always the same; you juggle money around to pay whatever you can, and hope that next month it will somehow all be better. Maybe it’s time to take a deep breath, admit you need to make some changes, and educate yourself on debt management.
Debt management is a course of action you will take to lower your debt, and eventually, eliminate it. This is done by learning how to manage your money, how to deal with creditors, and how to create and use a functional budget. The package is simply called a debt management plan. You can work to create your own debt management plan or you can contact a credit counseling agency about assisting you. Regardless of your choice, a debt management plan will likely include the following:

So you’re out mowing your lawn one day. You happen to glance up from your beat-up old mower across the street, where your neighbor is pulling into his driveway in a brand new luxury sedan while a team of hired gardeners carefully manicure his lush green yard. You don’t get it. His house is the same size as yours and you know the jobs that he and his wife have aren’t anything special. How does he have so many more toys than you? How can he afford them?
Well, rest easy my hard-working friend; if he’s like many Americans, he can’t. He’s just another victim of our country’s endless pursuit for bigger and better material possessions, regardless of if we can afford them or not. Sure a brief moment of jealousy might come over you for a moment or two, but it’ll pass. Resist that urge to “keep up with the Joneses”; you’ll be happy you did.
